Women's shoes

This is due to a non-existent uniform calculation of all shoe sizes. Some countries have their own scales, calculation methods and therefore their own shoe sizes.
In the UK, for example, we use a barleycorn to determine shoe size. This corresponds approximately to a third of an inch, i.e. 8.46 millimetres. In principle, the USA uses the same system. The difference is that they don't start counting at zero, but at one. For this reason, a US 15 is the same size as a UK 14.
For Germany, France and other European countries, an EU size is usually given, which is made up of an average of different European countries. This is preceded by the so-called Parisian stitch. This means that as soon as your shoe is sewn with 39 stitches, you have a shoe size of 39. One Paris stitch corresponds to approximately 0.66 centimetres.
In Asia, on the other hand, they simply measure your foot length in centimeters and determine it as your shoe size. Furthermore, Asians determine your foot width, which is indicated with the letters A through G.
Due to these different scales, there are always errors and different specifications when calculating shoe sizes.

It is best to spray them with a waterproofing spray before wearing them for the first time to protect the shoe from moisture and dirt. Furthermore, various care products help to remove dirt from the shoe. These can be a damp cloth, a shoe brush or special shoe erasers you can find in our category “Cleaning products”. However, you should pay attention to the upper material of the shoe. Suede or suede shoes usually do not tolerate wet cleaning.
Smooth leather shoes can be cleaned with a damp cloth and then treated with certain leather care products. This will lighten the colour of your shoes.
When cleaning a suede shoe, you should also use a suede brush. You can use it to remove stubborn stains and roughen the leather.
For stains on synthetic leather shoes, use a damp cotton cloth or try a shoe shine brush in combination with special care products.
In addition, shoe trees keep the shoe in its original shape and prevent creases at the toe. Sunlight can often fade the colour, so don't store them in daylight. It's best to keep them in a shoe closet or in a box. You find a wide variety of show racks and shoe cupboards in our category “Hallway furniture”.

Usually you have up to 30 days to return the shoes if you don't like them for any reason.
However, you should not have worn them outside your home and there should be no signs of use on them. Of course, you can take a little walk around your home to try them out. In most cases, the return shipment is free of charge. Anyway, it's recommended to read the seller's return policy to be sure.

Depending on the season, women can wear open, half-open or closed shoes. Open shoes include sandals, water and pool shoes as well as mules. Closed shoes include boots, ankle boots, wellies and winter shoes.

Another distinguishing feature is the presence of a heel. On pricerunner, for example, we have flat shoes (without heels) and heeled shoes (with heels ranging from 3 to 14 cms of height).

Women's shoes also differ by their use and the place where they are usually worn. In fact, there are indoor shoes and outdoor shoes. Indoor shoes include slippers. Shoes for the outdoors include garden shoes, like clogs, and trainers. You can buy universal trainers or different types of trainers for different types of sport.
