DIY KIT or READY TO USE HONING LEATHER STROP: You can fix leather to wood, MDF, or acrylic base of your choice using included 3M adhesive tape or just use as a leather sharpening strop of its own. Both leather sides, smooth and rough can be used according to your preferences VERSATILE AND EASY TO USE SHARPENING TOOL: Apply chosen stropping compound on one or both sides of the honing tool. Mostly customers use White compound on the rough side and Green compound on the smooth side. But you might prefer coarser or finer grit. You can also leave smooth side free of the compound for really ultra fine touch-ups. Always strop after finishing sharpening on your finest stone by pulling blade backwards with low pressure.
