Normally these finer particles are flushed out during filter preparation i.e. by soaking and flushing or running the filter under a tap until clear.We recommend the following: 1) Remove the filter from the inner vessel. 2) Shake it vigorously to loosen and redistribute the filter media. 3) Rinse the filter briefly under a cold tap. 4) Refit to the inner vessel
