Basing its design around an 1176-style compressor; the Black Lion Audio Bluey sounds great on virtually any sound source including guitars vocals and drums. Meticulously recreating the analog signal path Blue Lion Audio employed custom Cinemag transformers to deliver the same unique tonal power that made the original unit so sought after. The transformers are faithful recreations of the original design with a UTC input transformer and a Reichenbach output transformer.
