Founded in 1731, Bouchard Père et Fils is a winery in the Cote d'Or, in Burgundy, rich in history and tradition and since 1995 it has been owned by the Maison Champagne Henriot. The company, now led by Stéphane Follin-Arbelet, owns approximately 130 hectares of vineyards in some of the most prestigious appellations of Burgundy, such as Chevalier-Montrachet, Corton-Charlemagne, and Clos Vougeot. The Pinot Noir grapes come from vineyards located in the heart of the Pommard appellation on soils of limestone origin with traces of iron. After vinification, the finished wine rests in French oak barrels (20-30% of which are new) for approximately 1 year.
