Founded in 1985, the company quickly achieved success among the public and critics and is now considered one of the most prestigious companies in the area. The founder, Alain Thienot is supported by his sons Stanislas and Garance. The Cuvée Alain Thienot, produced only in exceptional years, is a blend of mostly Chardonnay with additions of Pinot Noir (40% from Grands Crus vineyards and 30% from Premiers Crus) and is a tribute to the founder of this young and promising Champagne house. The finished wine ages for 12 years in the company's cellars. This surprising champagne has a bright color with golden tones embellished by a fine and persistent perlage.
