When you lift your foot, the spring mechanism ensures that the pedal goes back to the open position, and the effect is turned off automatically. This function was designed with a slight delay so you can't accidentally turn off the effect when moving the pedal. Wah-wah pedal with Variable Q and volume On the left side of the Dunlop 105Q you'll find two small rotary dials. One of these is the Variable Q, which you can use to adjust the tonal character and intensity of the wah effect.
