The aluminium shade has a matt lacquer finish on the outside, while the inside of the shade has been designed in white for ideal light reflection. The fresh, modern design comes from Danish designer Cecilie Manz, who was exposed to design as a child by her parents, who were both artists. After studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and spending a semester abroad at the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, she now devotes herself to realising her designs in her own studio.
