A dual-sided beater provides quick tonal changes - a hard felt offers a softer attack and warmer tone whilst the plastic offers smack and impact.Retractable spurs keep the base plate sturdy and stable on a range of surfaces whilst a side-mounted clamping mechanism makes fitting and removing the pedal easier. To aid in playability the height of the pedal board and spring tension can be independently adjusted - suiting the players style rather than the other way around.
