Located in the helmet interior is SLID (Sliding Layer Impact Distribution) technology consisting of an advanced gel material with flowable properties that helps to redirect energy-exerted impacts on the brain by reducing rotational acceleration caused by oblique impacts. This allows the layer to counter the rotational acceleration, dispersing the impact when a multi-directional impact occurs. The I50 also sports a longer visor to give better protection for your eyes from the sun and your face from debris.
