It consists of a robust, splash-proof housing made of polycarbonate in dark grey and harmonises with almost every facade and entrance area thanks to its neutral design. During the day, the solar module and the integrated rechargeable battery store the solar energy (charging time approx. 7 h, operating time per charge up to 20 h). When darkness falls, the twilight sensor activates a steady orientation light with 20 % light output. If people approach, the motion sensor (range 4 m) switches the brightness to 100 % for 30 seconds.
