Espresso machines require a finer grind setting (level 1-5) whilst a filter coffee machine requires a coarser grind (levels 6-26) right through to the coarse grounds required for a cafetiere (levels 27-39). The Calibra coffee grinder has been designed to grind directly into various types of coffee maker. With a built-in tare button and high ground coffee outlet it is possible to grind directly into a porta filter or a Melitta 1x4 coffee filter.
