This PMC3 developed and manufactured by Mitsubishi Materials is a renown fine silver clay for jewellery making. It contains very fine silver particles, combined with water and a non-toxic, organic binder, that when dried and heated using a kiln or a torch, will burn away the binder, causing the particles to sinter and become a solid metal. PMC3 is easy to work with and has a soft texture. After sintering, it has a shrinking rate of about 10-15% and becomes 99.9% pure silver. An eco-friendly product as it contains recycled silver.PMC3 has a quick-firing time at a lower temperature than any other type of PMC. It can be fired for as fast as 10 minutes at the appropriate temperature.
