Ortega is widely known as a excellent guitar builder but also manufactures self-accompanying instruments for guitarists such as the Stomp Box Cajon. This bundle is basically an acoustic version of a guitar effect and includes a Baltic birch cajon and a pedal used to 'stomp' a rich, percussive sound out of the cajon. The front plate is made of Ammara wood and can be adjusted to shape different sounds, while the pedal is chain-driven and features a foam-rubber beater. Next to the cajon and pedal, Ortega even throw in a special backpack for the cajon and a practical carrying bag for the pedal. Please note that this is the right-footed version. A Perfect Sit The cajon has the same dimensions as any standard cajon and is 46cm high. Thanks to the rounded corners, it offers a comfortable seat and the entire set-up doesn't take up much space. The pedal can be operated using any part of the foot and makes an attractive addition for guitarists, as well as percussionists and drummers.
