Supports 4K signal input for yoursystem structure The PT-MZ880 series is compatible with 4K input signals and supports 4K/60p video via HDMI inputs or the DIGITAL LINK connector. This feature proves particularly useful when integrating the projectors into existing 4K-capable system structures. But it also eliminates the need for external converters or source re-encoding in cases where the same 4K signal needs to be transmitted to a network of end devices with different display resolutions. Three HDMI inputs support CEC commands The HDMI inputs are compatible with the control signals of a CEC-compatible component, allowing you to fully control the projector using the remote control of the corresponding source device. When a compatible device such as the optional PressIT wireless presentation system is connected to the projector via HDMI, the projector automatically turns on from standby and starts playback at the touch of a button. Separate LAN and DIGITAL LINK connections The MZ880 Series projectors can be controlled via a dedicated LAN connection or via an HDBase-T™-based DIGITAL LINK connection. Both options support Base-TX and BaseT compatible control signals via Panasonic, Crestron Connected™, AMX and Extron® applications. When controlled via LAN, DIGITAL LINK can transmit video signals over long cable connections of up to 150 metres. Optional motorised lenses: new ultra-short distance lens The PT-MZ880 series is equipped with a motorised zoom lens (1.61-2.76:1) and supports various optional fixed and zoom lenses for the desired positioning of the projector. The optional lenses include the ET-ELU20, a new ultra-short distance lens with zero shift. This makes the projector series ideal not only for educational and corporate environments, but also for museum exhibitions. In conjunction with a compatible motorised lens, zoom, focus and V/H lens shift can be adjusted via the projector remote control or the Smart Projector Control app. Compatibility with Smart Projector Control app Smart ProjectorControl is a remote control app for iOS and Android™ devices that allows you to adjust, control and monitor up to 64 projectors individually or simultaneously from anywhere within wireless network range.You can use the app to turn the projector on and off, select an input signal and adjust the projector's OSD menu settings from your device's touchscreen while the projector is in standby or cover activated. Integrated Geometry Adjustment and Edge Blending Integrated Geometry Adjustment can be controlled from the projector's remote control and allows distortion to be corrected when projecting images from awkward angles or onto curved or irregular surfaces. Spherical, cylindrical or other complex deviations can be compensated for without additional PC input. Geometry Manager Pro software with Free Grid Geo Pro for Windows® PC expands the functionality of the integrated geometry adjustment and makes even complex corrections child's play with Free Grid.
