Podcasts are more popular than ever and to accommodate anyone who wants to boost the quality of their on-location casts, Zoom offer the purpose-made PodTrak P4 podcast recorder. This all-in-one recorder comes fitted with four microphone inputs and four headphone outputs. Input 3 is also compatible with phones and has a mix-minus function, while four trigger buttons are provided so that you always have access to your sound effects and jingles. The Zoom PodTrak P4 in Detail While the four microphone inputs are compatible with dynamic microphones, integrated phantom power can be enabled per channel to accommodate condenser microphones and a mute button and volume control has also been included per channel. 11 trigger-pad presets have been included but you can also load in your own jingles and sound effects as preferred, and if you get a caller during the show, you can quickly and directly connect your phone using the TRRS mini-jack input. To counter any possible feedback, this input is supported by a mix-minus function that prevents the callers voice from being sent back through the phone line.
