Located in Meursault in the venerated Burgundy wine region, Domaine Remi Jobard is a small family estate spanning approximately 8 hectares of vineyards, including some high-altitude plots in Meursault and several 1er cru parcels. The estate has been certified organic since 2011. The Chardonnay grapes come from a small parcel of less than half a hectare adjacent to the 1er Cru Gouttes d'Or. Here, the vines, over 30 years old, are grown according to organic farming standards and rooted in chalk-rich soil. After harvest, fermentation occurs with indigenous yeasts. The finished wine rests half in barrique and half in foudre before aging for 6 months in stainless steel and bottling.
