Spirit of Hven Seven Stars No.6:1 Mizar Single Malt Whisky

50cl / 45.00% - Here we have the sixth release in Spirit of Hevn's Seven Star series, No. 6:1 Mizar. The blend marries lager malt, peated malt and chocolate malt, matured in a trio of casks, including Muehlenbergii oak from Missouri, Petraea oak from Allier and Robur from Bourgogne. This is the only heavily peated release in the Seven Star series, and the final blend was finished in barriques which previously housed Chateau Margaux Premier Grand Cru. The reason it is called 6:1 is because the sixth light point in the Ursa Major constellation is a double star, where Mizar pairs with Alcor. We eagerly await the 6:2...
