-CASTOR OIL BRISTLES- Our natural bristles are made in Germany from a bio-polyamide using Sebacic acid which is 100% derived from castor oil seeds. The castor oil plants are grown in poor soils, which are not suitable for growing food crops. They are therefore not competing with food production for fertile land unlike maize (corn). Being plant based the bristles have the smallest eco-footprint of any bristle current available for toothbrushes. -BAMBOO HANDLE- Our handles come from sustainably grown mountain bamboo in China. It is 100% biodegradable. In the USA alone, over 1 billion toothbrushes a year are thrown into landfills. Most of these toothbrushes are made of plastic with Nylon bristles. They will be with us forever, contributing to the mountain of plastic rubbish we are leaving for future generations. -DENTIST RECOMMENDED- The toothbrush was designed to meet the professional requirements of an ideal toothbrush. It has a small head with straight cut bristles,on a small shank, with a straight easy ************************************************************* handle. This allows the brush to reach the most difficult to reach areas. The bristles are soft to medium which means it will not damage the teeth or make gum recession worse. -CONICAL FLAT BOTTOM- This unique design allows the brush to stand on its own and dry naturally. Bamboo deteriorates quickly and becomes mouldy, if it is kept moist. To prolong the life of the brush it should be allowed to dry completely. -COLOUR CODING- Our toothbrushes come in a 4 pack with a different color of waterbased paint, on each handle. This allows each member of the household to choose a different color. Or an individual can choose a different color for each season.
