With very expressive aromas dominated by the Grenache which delivers notes of dark chocolate, plum, blackberry and cherry ending with tobacco, pepper and cumin. The medium to full body, has excellent structure, with flavours of dark berry and cherry fruits complimented by notes of pepper and a long lasting finish, which is unctuous yet firm thanks to the fine-grained tannins. Sweet, fruity, spicy and flavourful, the blend for this renowned Cairanne is comprised of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre from the slopes of Dentelles de Montmirail in the Southern Rhône valley. Founded in 1781, Vidal-Fleury is located in the midst of the Côte-Rôtie vineyards in the Northern Rhône, and is the oldest continuously operating wine producer in the Rhône Valley.
