To compensate for the lack of metal in the tip of the ski Volkl has added carbon tips that provide excellent levels of torsional stiffness without a large amount of added weight. These lightweight but stable tips allow you to ski hard and fast all over the mountain with Volkls renowned edges allowing you to cut through firm conditions without a second thought. Due to the geometry of the side cut and depending on the riders speed the effective edge can become shorter for agile turns and longer for strong carves on fresh groomers.
