Features seamless and well integrated with its firm, chewy tannins, balanced acidity, generous length and warm lingering earthy, chocolate and dark fruit finish. Soft, round and full bodied with rich plum and blueberry fruit complexed with dark chocolate, vanilla and clove spice. Ripe, dense blueberry, dark cherry and Satsuma plum fruit aromas combined with chocolate and blackberry spice and a hint of sweet vanillin oak. Medium French and American oak influence. Initially as oak shavings during fermentation and the rest as oak adjuncts during maturation including staves and planks.
