Folders
The difference between a folder and a binder is mainly in the way the sheets of paper are placed. Whereas in a folder they can be stored loosely, to file them, they must first be punched and then placed on a clip. In this way, the documents are securely fixed in a binder.
With binders with clips, the elastic bands prevent the individual sheets from slipping out.
In everyday office life, folders are particularly suitable as a form of filing for files that are still being processed. Compared to binders, folders are more handy and clearer. The loosely inserted papers can be removed quickly and easily. Folders, on the other hand, are suitable for archiving completed processes.
Important documents and proofs that should not be punched are well kept in a transparent film in the binder as well as in a folder. However, when presenting these documents, for example at a job interview, definitely use a folder.
