1990 Gallantry Commemorative Presentation. British Presentation Packs catalogue number Pack PP183 (printed no. 211) Issued by the Royal Mail on 11th September 1990. This pack contains a set of five mint stamps, which were produced to mark 50th Anniversary of the George Cross, Britain's highest civilian decoration for bravery, by King George VI. It is depicted on one of the five 20p stamps that make up this issue. The other stamps depict the Victoria Cross (Britain's highest gallantry decoration) and the highest awards for the Royal Navy, Army and Royal Air Force respectively are shown on the three horizontal designs. Inside the pack, it explains the meaning of the five Crosses and Medals featured on the stamps. Ideal as a gift or keepsake, making a wonderful addition to any collection.
