There are a few things to consider when choosing makeup that will suit you:

1. Your skin tone: Makeup should enhance your natural skin tone, not cover it up. If you have fair skin, choose light colours. If you have darker skin, go for richer shades.
2. Your eye colour: Again, you want to enhance your natural features. If you have blue eyes, try using purple or green eyeshadows. Brown eyes look great with bronze or gold tones.
3. Your hair colour: If you have dark hair, you can get away with bolder makeup choices. If you have lighter hair, stick to more natural colours.
4. Your personal style: Choose makeup that reflects your personal style. If you're more of a tomboy, go for a more natural look. If you're more glam, try a smoky eye or red lipstick.

To apply makeup, start by cleansing your face with a cleanser that is appropriate for your skin type. Next, apply a primer to help your makeup last longer and to create a smooth canvas. Then, apply your foundation, concealer, powder, and other makeup products from your personal make up set as desired. Use a makeup brush or sponge to blend everything together for a natural finish.

There are a few basic steps to applying eye make-up:

1. Start with a clean, dry face. Apply a small amount of primer to your eyelids to help your eye makeup last longer.
2. Using an eyeshadow brush, apply a light eyeshadow over your entire eyelid.
3. Next, use a medium-colored eyeshadow and apply it to the crease of your eyelid.
4. Finally, use a dark eyeshadow to create a smoky effect. Use a small amount of shadow and blend it well.

To use a makeup sponge, first dampen the sponge with water and then squeeze out any excess. Next, apply your makeup to the sponge and then use the sponge to blend the makeup into your skin. After usage, be sure to clean the sponge with soap and water and let it dry completely before using it again.

You should clean your makeup brushes at least once a week, and more often if you use them daily. To clean your brushes, wet the bristles with warm water and then add a drop of mild shampoo or brush cleanser. Gently massage the bristles with your fingers and then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Squeeze out any excess water and then let the brushes air dry.
