Aberlour A'Bunadh Alba is the closest you can get to experiencing whisky straight from the cask. It uses only 1st fill American Oak barrels that previously held Bourbon whisky to preserve the intense sweet flavours. Nose: Sweet orchard fruit aromas of fresh green apple and juicy sweet pears complemented with delicate lavender honey, smooth vanilla cream and zesty sherbet lemon. Palate: An initial burst of citrus lemon zest and tangy grapefruit revealing rich all-butter shortbread and soft baked apples, followed by a hint of sweet sugared almonds. Finish: smooth and sweet with a hint of toasted almonds. Ideal gift to offer for Christmas , Father's Day, birthdays and other special occasions. Abunadh is cask strength which means that it comes out of the cask and is bottled at whatever ABV it is when it is taken out of the cask. This is why the Batch number and ABV can't be specified.
