ABUS bicycle lock shackle clamp, 45347, 12 mm

I ordered this part for my Abus locking mechanism, as it was listed on Abus’s website for the Bordo Granite. There was no installation guide included, and I’m not clear on how the 13 mm clamp is supposed to fit over the 16 mm hook. In my view, it’s just expensive junk.
