THE REGION - The Adrianna vineyard is located at almost 5,000’ elevation in the Gualtallary sub-district of the Tupungato region. White Bones Chardonnay comes from select rows within Block 1 of the Adrianna Vineyard. The name refers to the soil underneath these rows, which is layered with calcareous deposits and limestone as well as fossilized animal bones - remnants of a river that used to pass through the region. TASTING NOTES - Exuberant with fantastic aromas of honeysuckle, salt, chalk and dried apples and pears. Full body. Dense, vivid fruit with a linear frame of wonderful, energetic acidity. FOOD PAIRING - The bright acidity of the wine can complement the sweetness of seared scallops, while the citrus flavours can harmonise with the aromas of dried apples and pears. ANY AWARDS - Rated James Suckling 97/100 and 95/100 from Tim Atkin MW. IDEAL GIFT - This wine makes the ideal gift for a work colleague, friend or simply yourself!
