The FX section of the mixer can be divided up into 4 different types: tap tempo delays, short reverbs, long reverbs and modulation. Operating and setting up these effects is done via three simple controls. The ZED-12FX is fitted with 100mm faders, a 3-band swept-mid equalizer, 4 aux sends, and a USB send and return.
