Shoe-like comfort with boot-like protection, the first thing you'll notice about the Superfaster Tech Riding Shoes is the height. Measuring at around 25 cm tall, the Superfaster falls about 8 cm shorter than the SMX-6 performance sport boot, but around 6.5 cm taller than the Faster 3 performance sport shoe. The taller height of the Superfaster allows for better overall coverage, and more importantly, to incorporate more sophisticated protection, such as the integrated lower shin impact protector as well as the new, semi-rigid internal ankle brace system featuring malleolus impact protection and an Achilles extension protector.
