Inspired by the Mull of Oa, the cliffs protecting the Ardbeg distillery from the wild Atlantic Ocean, An Oa embraces its contrasts. This whisky balances roundness with Ardbeg's signature intensity. ON THE EYES: A light gold ON THE NOSE: Subtly smoky, aromas of creamy toffee, aniseed, treacle and dates emerge. A drop of water reveals the classic Ardbeg notes of lime and pine.
