Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19 Year Old – Single Malt Islay Whisky – Batch 5

Intense coastal peat and sea-air character in a 19-year-old Islay single malt, matured largely in ex-bourbon oak for vanilla sweetness and citrus zest. Bold smoke with maritime salinity, delivering a balanced, enduring finish. Ardbeg Traigh Bhan Batch #5 Islay Single Malt Scotch 19 year old 46.2% ABV Nose: Perfumed tropical fruit aromas drift on a sea breeze, with coastal smoke curling in behind. Saddle soap overlays charred green pepper as smoked mango and coconut mingle in an effervescent, tropical top note. Palate: Creamy mouthfeel leads into a crashing symphony of herbal and spicy flavors: smoked maple-cured bacon, charcoal, white pepper and clove, with gentle outdoorsy notes of wood smoke and sea spray. Finish: The finish glides long and generously, core notes of tropical fruit returning as heather and warm toffee mingle on the palate, capped by a whisper of smoked butter that lingers softly.
