Artuke Finca Los Locos is a red wine made by Bodegas y Viñedos Artuke in the D.O.Ca. Rioja. This winery is located in the municipality of Baños de Ebro (Álava), in the area of the D.O. known as La Rioja Alavesa. Artuke Finca Los Locos is a blend of tempranillo, graciano and viura. The vines are located on the higher lands of the river Ebro, at an altitude of 550 meters. The soil is sandy gravel and a chalky undersoil. The land would seem impossible to work for producing wine, but that is exactly what happened, and the name on the wine "Locos" or "crazy" only demonstrating the work that has gone in to create this wine. The wine is produced using traditional methods and aged for 16 months in French oak barrels. Artuke Finca Los Locos is a wine from a one plot of land, with which indentifies and also separates them from other wines.
