Artuke K4 is a red wine produced by Bodegas y Viñedos Artuke in Baños de Ebro (Rioja Alavesa), D.O. Ca. Rioja. Bodegas y Viñedos Artuke is a small family-run winery with a century-old tradition of cultivating vineyards. It was in 1991 when Miguel Blanco began his personal project of turning his fruit into wine. Later on, his two sons (Arturo and Kike, the acronym of whose names makes up the name of the winery) took over the company. Bodegas y Viñedos Artuke has 22 hectares of vineyard, distributed over 32 plots between the municipalities of Baños de Ebro and ábalos. The differences in climate due to the altitude and the types of soil make each wine subtly different. These wines are made ensuring utmost respect in the vineyard, using biodynamic methods and with as little intervention in the winery as possible.
