Astep Model 548 Table Lamp Dark Brass/Grey

Design: Gino Sarfatti for Astep Concept: The Model 548 from Astep is a creative retro-lamp from Gino Sarfatti. The little, upwards-facing bulb lights on to a coloured plexiglass shade that spreads the light wide. In itself, the lamp is a study of balance which is seen throughout Gino Sarfatti's designs. The table lamp is perfect as a reading light in the bedroom or on the desk. The lamp is available with dark or polished brass and the shades are available in blue, white, orange and grey. The small lamp is, naturally, adjustable for directional light. This lamp, designed in 1951, is a true classic in a refreshing design that looks weightless and elegant with a cord that organically sneaks out of the base.
