The Aston Apex is an active handheld dynamic vocal microphone made with live performance in mind. Taking its heritage from the switchable voicing system of the Aston Stealth the Apex doesnt apply EQs filters or modelling and instead has two discrete signal paths one tuned for lower-pitched voices and one for higher-pitched voices. This makes it incredibly versatile for a range of vocalists genres and styles. The Apex also has a built-in Class A preamp that can be used in its phantom-powered active mode adding 20 dB of clean boost to help vocals punch through the mix in live performances. Its aerodynamically-tuned head enhances focus on on-axis signals keeping sources in front of the capsule upfront and clear.
