AXAGON PCEM2-DC PCIe 3.0 x4 Adapter, 1x M.2 NVMe, 1x M.2 SATA With Active Cooling

With the PCEM2-DC , AXAGON offers an internal adapter that simultaneously connects an NVMe M.2 SSD and a SATA M.2 SSD to the PC via a PCI Express slot. This is particularly useful if the mainboard does not have a corresponding M.2 slot or if these are already occupied. The adapter enables the use of single and double-sided M.2 SSDs in x16, x8 and x4 PCIe 3.0 slots. Data from an M.2 NVMe SSD is transferred directly via the PCIe bus, for M.2 SATA SSDs there is a SATA connector that is connected to a corresponding slot.The PCI Express bus supplies the PCEM2-DCdirectly with power, so no external source is required. Thermal pads and a panel with an active fan help to better dissipate the waste heat generated by the M.2 SSDs under load.
