Barón de Ley Blanco Semidulce is a young white wine crafted from the sauvignon blanc variety at the Barón de Ley winery, in the DOCa. Rioja region. Located in the Navarrese town of Mendavia, at the banks of the Ebro River, the Barón de Ley winery was established in a former fortified castle dating back to 1548. Having passed through the hands of counts, Benedictine monks, and generals, it is now Eduardo Santos Ruiz who manages the winery as its major shareholder. Over 600 hectares of vineyards are cultivated to produce wines in the quintessential DOCa. Rioja style.
