The Recon Pant's 3L waterproof-breathable solution keeps moisture out on days with heavy snowfall. The Recon has two zipped thigh pockets, including a smaller pocket for a transceiver on the right thigh. The snug waist provides extra protection; it features velcro attachments on the sides, a popper closure, and belt loops.
