The Black Lion Audio Seventeen Compressor is a high-end outboard compressor fusing characteristics of classic compressors with modern innovations. The Seventeen Compressor features a front-end circuit with a custom designed output transformer providing powerful low-end with airy tops and sparkling highs. This single-channel FET-style compressor features an integrated sidechain high pass filter as well as selectable HP/LP filters. The decoupled power design results in an ultra-low noise floor accompanied by high-grade signal capacitors. Inspired by classic compressors the unit also features vintage-style VU meters for quick and easy visual monitoring.
