After setting the gain control and pad switch to your bass guitar's output, you can choose between a classic, modern, or 'flat' sound. If you want more clarity, choose between overdrive, distortion or fuzz and adjust the amount of drive manually. Unity 250: extra effects and response Select the octave effect to add some mass to the low frequencies. To add some sweetness, go for chorus. The levels are adjustable via the control panel on the rear. To make your sound more balanced or to ensure your playing cuts through the mix, use the Blackstar U250's on-board compressor. It features a 3-band EQ for comprehensive control over the mid frequencies of your solidbody bass.
