Description:A highly penetrative, thin bituminous solution for priming surfaces prior to the application of bituminousmaterialsUsesBITUMEN PRIMER can be used to prime concrete roofs andfloors, cementitious screeds/renders, bitumen felt, masticasphalt, weathered corrugated iron and steel. It is therecommended primer for use with the BITUBOND range ofbituminous roof coatings, flashing tapes or mastics.PreparationAll surfaces must be structurally sound, clean, dry andfree from surface contaminants such asgrease, rust and dirt. If necessary,remove any organic growth i.e. moss orlichen, with a fungicidal wash such asMOULD STOP. On bare metal a rustinhibiting product, such as red oxide orzinc phosphate should be applied andallowed to harden.ApplicationApply by brush or roller. Using a brush, scrub the primer intothe surface.
