Borsao Selección 2020

Borsao Tinto Selección is a young red wine from the DO. Campo De Borja, crafted by the winery Borsao. It is a blend of Garnacha Tinta, Tempranillo, and Syrah. The grapes used for Borsao Tinto Selección are sourced from young vineyards aged between 15 and 25 years. These vineyards are situated on clay-limestone, stony, and loamy soils. Borsao Tinto Selección undergoes a skin maceration for 3 to 4 days. The entire maceration process extends up to 10 or 12 days. Each variety ferments separately in stainless steel tanks at a consistently controlled temperature of around 22º-24ºC. The winery Borsao is globally renowned and respected. One of its principal advocates is Robert Parker, the most influential wine critic in the wine world, who once declared Borsao Tinto Selección to be "possibly the single greatest wine value in the world." In 2014, the winery Borsao was also regarded by Parker as one of the most valuable of the year.
