The clock looks and feels nice. I like that the clock face is automatically illuminated by a backlight at night. The backlight is not too bright, so it won't affect your sleep. This is a replacement for a previous Braun that died after years. The one I'm replacing was made in Germany. I was skeptical because this is made in China, but honestly can't tell the difference! So far accurate, we'll lit and quite.

Looks good, with the three batteries it’s sturdy. It doesn’t have an automatic time setting, but I find that unnecessary.
