The X Light Marteau is an ice axe from Camp.Designed for mountaineering or glacier hiking, it is a lightweight ice axe favoured for its versatility. The hot-forged aluminium two different head configurations (pick & adze and pick & hammer) allow the tool to be optimized. It has a curved aluminium 7075-T6 shaft designed to ensure both an effective grip when the ice axe is in traction and excellent anchoring in the snow when the ice axe is used as a vertical support. It has a hole for a carabiner at the top that can be used with a strap, and you can attach a leash at the tip.This new handle is modular to enable several configurations: full with 2 supports, only the lower support, and without support for moving exclusively on snow. The upper adjustable support can be moved to any point on the handle according to your needs.
