Caisteal Chamuis Blended Malt Whisky 70cl

70cl / 46.00% - A brill blended malt Scotch whisky from the Caisteal Chamuis range, produced by the Mossburn team (the folks behind the Torabhaig Distillery, and the Mossburn series of independent bottlings). It was named after a castle on the Isle of Skye, this expression was initially aged in a combination of first-fill and refill American oak hogshead, before being married together for a finishing period in bourbon barrels. A decidedly smoky dram, comprised of peated whiskies from the Scottish Isles, with wafts of sweet vanilla imparted by the aforementioned bourbon barrels.
