PRODOTTO DI MONTAGNA: Parmigiano Reggiano DOP, prepared from milk milked in mountain regions, aged for 24/30 months, aluminised and vacuum-packed in a fresh container. EXCELLENCE: Born in a pristine setting, amidst forests, streams and high-altitude meadows, Parmigiano Reggiano di Montagna is the fruit of a great passion and long traditions, and is manufactured exclusively from milk milked in that part of the Apennines between Parma and Bologna. NATURAL RIPING: the maturation of our cheeses takes place in ancient structures with stone walls, built in the 19th century. This allows a cheese to mature in a natural balance of temperature and humidity, expelling excess moisture and residual whey from processing and enhancing the smell and aromas of the cheese. PACKAGING: In order to preserve the aroma and typical characteristics of the product, our products are packed in vacuum-packed food storage bags with a triple layer of aluminum to prevent oxidation and thermal shock.
