The same is true of Casa Balaguer: a clear and unembellished portrait of what it was and what it is today. In Villena, Alicante (Valencian Community), amidst the golden light of the Mediterranean and the scent of the Alicante soil, lies Finca Balaguer. It spans 50 hectares of vineyard and winery where each plot and soil type tells a different story. It all began in the year 2000, when Rafa Bernabé Aguilar, a farmer and citrus specialist, decided to embark on a new venture by crafting his own wines with a clear philosophy: to work the land with respect, minimal intervention, and an ecological spirit.
