Casa Castillo Las Gravas 2023

Casa Castillo Las Gravas is a red wine from the DO Jumilla produced by the winery Finca Casa Castillo. It is a blend of the monastrell and garnacha grape varieties sourced from vines over 40 years old planted on calcareous bedrock. Once the harvest is complete, the grapes are crushed, with 25% of whole clusters, and each variety ferments separately in small underground vats. After racking, a process by which the wine is separated from the grape skins, the varieties are transferred to 5000-litre vats and smaller 500-litre vats.
