The Castelli Gabba R short sleeve jacket is the next generation of foul weather racing apparel. The short sleeve jacket is the most protective and aerodynamic to date. It features an exclusive Castelli fabric with an electrospun hydrophilic microporous membrane in polyurethane. The outer membrane keeps the jacket lightweight and breathable, avoiding additional layers that trap moisture. The fabric weighs only 125 g/m2 and stretches at least twice its original dimension in every direction. The inner lining of the fabric is 78% polyester / 22% elastane to maintain extreme elasticity while enhancing breathability.The polyurethane membrane has been formulated to be more hydrophobic than standard polyurethane. It has a design with a waterproof YKK Vislon zip, 3 rear pockets and an extended rear panel with a reflective stripe. The membrane and all the fabric are PFAS-free.
